Overview
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our engineering organisation .This role operates within a globally distributed delivery model, partnering closely with established onshore teams to deliver and maintain high-availability, mission-critical systems.
The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing evolution and stability of key payment platforms within a scaled Agile (SAFe) environment.

Role
The Software Engineer will be responsible for:
• Agile Delivery (SAFe Framework): Working within an established Scrum team aligned to SAFe, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Distributed Team Collaboration: Collaborating closely with onshore engineering teams to deliver features, resolve defects, and ensure seamless integration across the delivery lifecycle.
• Application Development & Maintenance: Designing, developing, and maintaining solutions across a multi-technology stack.
• Production Support & Reliability: Supporting critical live systems, ensuring performance, resilience, and adherence to enterprise standards and controls.
• Continuous Improvement: Contributing to engineering best practices, automation, and process enhancements to improve delivery efficiency and quality.

All About You
We are looking for a technically strong and collaborative Software Engineer who thrives in a complex, enterprise-scale environment.
Key requirements include:
• Proven experience with enterprise CI/CD and Release engineering
• Proven experience with Ansible and Atlassian tools
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Scripting and Automation (API integration, Python, Groovy)
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools
• Work experience on Linux
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments, ideally within SAFe
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
• Ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams
Desirable experience:
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes
• Exposure to payment systems or financial services environments
• Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability platforms
